Art&Politics: The Streets of Rome is a project developed by the Istituto Affari Internazionali and Wanderama, in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The project aims to convey within it two different worlds: street art, which is non-conformist, provocative and evocative; and traditional, practical political analysis. Although they seem so different, these two arts, one figurative and one political, are not in fact so far apart. The project, which foresaw the participation of numerous artists and international relations experts, led to the production of a documentary and an eBook that take the street art of Rome into a framework of international political analysis. The documentary and the eBook create a blend of aesthetics and logic, of figurative art and words and allow messages taking the form of art or the form of politics to emerge with greater disruptive force.
